I had a fabulous time back east over Thanksgiving! One of my sisters picked me up from the Newark Airport, and drove me right away to the Porter House in Montvale, New Jersey, where I got to play at a session with Rose Flanagan. Another sister picked me up and drove me to Connecticut. The week was filled with many parties and family visits. All my sisters, my brother, my Dad, and numerous nieces and nephews were in attendance for the great Thanksgiving feast. Then, as luck would have it, I was able to attend another session at the Porter House the night before my flight back to Alaska. Linda Hickman was hosting the session that night, and she put me up at her place on Staten Island, then took me to the airport in the morning.
